Do files in shared folders inherit the sharing permissions of the folder?

Helpful | Level 5

I'm using dropbox.com to manage files and folders. This is a personal account.

I have created a shared folder.

If I add a new file to the folder, does that file automaticlly inherit the same share permissions as the folder? Or do I have to individually add share permissions to each file I add to the folder?

Kind regards.

If you share a folder with someone, they can access anything within the folder. You don't need to separately share the new items you add to it.
