Hello,
We have a dropbox for work with 2GO, it will soon be full, if we subscribe to a 2000GO package, will it be on the whole dropbox for everyone or only for the one who has subscribed to the increased package?
So I wanted to know if all users of the dropbox should subscribe to the increase or just one person to benefit all users of the Dropbox ?
Hi @Shuaib91,
If you and all other people, you are talking about, use the same account, ... It's just one account so you don't have to pay for anything more. Most probably this is not the your case.
If you are talking for something shared, all shares (files/folders) are count to the storage quota of all participant, unfortunately. So if the shared is more than 2GB (or available free storage) then all participant have to pay for more storage while using Dropbox. Dropbox is trying to prevent storage stacking and excuse the limitation with this protection (or is trying to, at least). Of course you can try other competitors where protection against storage stacking is real and doesn't try to force overpay for the same storage. The choice is yours. 😉
Hope this helps.
