Don't WANT SmartSync, it's "working" anyway

Don't WANT SmartSync, it's "working" anyway

I want EVERYTHING downloaded and synced. I do not want SmartSync to function. And yet, a ton of my files wear the cloud badge, because they aren't downloaded, per my screenshot. I've read through the help, I've restarted my computer AND dropbox, tried switching the settings then switching them back. Nothing works. This is not the first time Dropbox has kinda been screwing me, and I'm ticked about this. Just let ME control my files and sync them!

Hello @Ben S.4, thanks for checking back in with us.

When you right-click on the folders and select to Smart Sync them as local, do you get any error messages?

Were the folders you mention by any chance originally selectively synced?

Give me a shout whenever you have the chance to look into this, cheers!
