Hi,

It is very easy to get a direct download link of files that are saved in your Dropbox account and hotlink them on your webpage.

Here is the step by step instructions:

1) Copy the Dropbox link of the image file that you want to share. (Right-click on the image file in your Dropbox folder and choose Copy Dropbox Link). You should have something similar to this:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/tg0cfa565aue4ak/zoo.jpg?dl=0

2) You have to change number zero (....dl=0) at the end of the link and replace it with one (....dl=1)

Now your link that you gonna use should look like this:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/tg0cfa565aue4ak/zoo.jpg?dl=1

What you are doing by adding one to the end of the link is hotlinking it. That's is sharing a direct download link to the file. Anyone who clicks on a hotlinked file will not see any of the Dropbox frames, logos, etc. And downloading will start immediately.

Note that, free (basic) accounts have a traffic limitation of 20 GB per day for hotlinked files. And the maximum number of downloads that all of your links together can generate is 100,000 downloads per day.

Hope it helps!
