Dropbox Folder - Storage Size (Sharing Folders)

Hi there,

I have plenty of space in my Dropbox account. However, I want my assistant to upload large files on her end. My assistant does not have Dropbox storage. I have the storage in my account. 

I thought I could create a folder using my Dropbox account and share an editable folder and give her the link so that she can use my storage? She is not able to do this? Is there a workaround or something she did that prevented her from using my folder and my storage for my folder that I created for her to upload my videos to?

She cannot take advantage of your increased space. Shared folders exist in the account of each member of the folder, so they need enough space within their account to hold the folder and anything they plan to add to the folder.

If she only needs to be able to upload files to you, and won't need to edit or access the files after she's uploaded them, you can send her a File Request instead.
