Inability to share file even though I haven't shared much at all! "You've hit the limit" error

Hi,

 

I'm trying to share a file to my family and repeatedly get the "You've hit the limit of invites you can send per day. Try again in 24 hours."

 

I've tried to share this weeks ago and stopped for a couple of weeks after being frustrated. Now, I just tried anew and get the same error message. Dropbox is worthless if it won't let me share files. that's the whole purpose of this subscription.

 

Please help me fix understand how to fix this obstacle to using Dropbox.  It's very frustrating

Suddenly I started to get this error message when I try to share a folder " You don’t have permission to create a link to this folder", this happened in all my devices.


And the people I shared folders with them previously started to get error 404 when trying to access the shared folders,

 anybody knows what's happening? or have been through the same?

Sounds like you are actually blocked for some other reason - virus/spam or copyright issues etc. although false positives are possible. 

 

You need to contact support at www.dropbox.com/support for help.

I am unable to contact real Dropbox support.  The support page only gives option for Chat, contact this Dropbox community and there is no phone number or email to contact Dropbox support (a real person) that I can see.  It is very frustrating.

 

There is no copyright issues or spam or anything like that. I'm trying to share wedding photos to my own family!

I have 27 GB available in the plan and am only using 3 GB now.  fyi

I'm afraid that without access to support you may not be able to reply.

 

You could try a tweet to @Dropbox.

hello i got this error

and i try to download file via shared dropbox link.i am getting this error also https://prnt.sc/vkiuio

please help to resolve.

i didnot send any invitations before 24 hours

As advised throughout this thread, you can submit a ticket to our team and let us know the ID (eg. #1234567) connected to it, to pass your comments along.

share a root level folder

Cannot share a root level folder.

System replied "that I used maximal amount of invites...", although it was the first one fo a months.

any ideas?
