Dropbox Paper - some people can't see the photos

New member | Level 2
New member | Level 2

I have created a "Paper" to share some photos, a couple of pdfs and a video with various contractors.

Everyone can see the videos and pdfs but only some of the people can see the photos - other just see links.  Since there are over 50 photos it isn't really feasible for them to click on each link to see the photo.

Any ideas what might be going wrong?

Thanks

Ed

Hi there @ed18, thanks for reaching out to us on the Dropbox Community - welcome aboard!

I'd be more than happy to help, I'll just need a bit more info on this, such as:

  • Are all users accessing the Paper doc from the website?
  • If so, have they tried previewing it from another browser or an incognito window?

Keep me posted!

Hi Lusil

I sent them a link by email or by mobile (SMS) using the share function on the website.  I assume they clicked on the link.  Not sure what browser or if they tried incognito (imagine they are windows but can't be sure).

It worked for someone who already had a dropbox account but not for the others.

Thanks for letting me know, Ed.

I'd recommend asking them to try another browser or use an incognito window (whether they're using a computer or mobile) - maybe that will do the trick.

Let me know how it goes!
