I need to upgrade my account to a paid version, in order to use Dropbox Rewind. But customer support is telling me that even with the upgrade I won't be able to use Rewind, since I was originally on the free version.
However, I found other community board threads that seem to say otherwise.
I am 99% sure you can use the rewind feature regardless of when the files were deleted (i.e. to restore lots in one go), however, what you cannot do is extend the restore period beyond the 30 days. That new feature (to 180 days) would only apply from the point you upgraded and as long as you stayed upgraded
