Dropbox is reporting my 'Usage' as 4.4GB, but the file size of my Dropbox folder on disk is only 2.8GB.
Is there any way to find out where the rogue 1.6GB is? Either something has not made it to my desktop which is in the cloud, or Dropbox is incorrectly calculating my usage. I can't see a way to view the size of folders on the dropbox web interface, so I can't compare sizes that way.
Hi @jonathanrswift, thanks for posting on the Community!
I'm sorry to hear about this. The bad files check page no longer is in use. You can instead open the Dropbox desktop application, click the avatar, and then view sync issues to see any files that have failed to sync.
Looking on the site, try calculating the size of folders to see if there is a large folder, with files that might not be able to sync.
Let me know how it goes!
