Dropbox constantly syncing and resyncing/redownloading files that haven't changed at all

My dropbox is constantly uploading and downloading my files. It continually updates the files from my ipad and syncs to my computer even though I haven't changed anything in the files. All day long, my internet is being used up by dropbox so I have to just turn syncing off whenever we have a need for more download and upload speed. 

 

Please help

Hi @dereknilsen, thanks for posting today!

 

When you say files are syncing from the iPad, were there any recent changes to the files on there, which was why they were syncing originally?

 

Are files being added to the Dropbox site directly by another user in a shared folder?

 

Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!
