Dropbox deleted my folders

Hello, 

A couple of weeks ago I realised that dropbox had deleted my folders and the files within them. 

I tried to go back in time and restore what had been lost but it didnt work. 

Its not the end of the world because I have them saved elsewhere too, but I was wondering whether you have any idea of what might have happened.
