Dropbox hanging - nothing is functioning

Hi - I'm a Dropbox newbie

Am only using Dropbox within Google Chrome.

My Dropbox totally hangs.

Unable to log out

Unable to create new folder

Unable to use any function.

There is no response when clicking drop-down menus.

Could you try another browser to see if the issue persists? 

Also, check if you can navigate through your account if you sign in through an incognito window.

When using Firefox the drop-down menus are functioning. 

And I am able to both sign in and sign out.

When using Chrome incognito window everything is fine.

And I'm able to sign out again.

Going back to Chrome standard it is just partly working.

When in "All files" mode nothing is functioning, no dropdown, no logout.

When in "Start" mode dropdown is ok and I am able to logout.

I at least can use Firefox and Chrome Incognito 🙂

So I'm not lost.

Could you also try clearing your Chrome browser's cache?

If that doesn't do the trick, make sure that there aren't any third party browser extensions/plugins running and refresh the window.

Solved - thanks a lot.

I disabled Malwarebytes Chrome extension.

Then I got access to all the functionalities 🙂
