Dropbox hangs when trying to sync queue

I am having the worst possible user experience with Dropbox. 

 

1. UI lags when I try to see what is on the sync queue

2. When I uncheck certain folders from the preference, it still tries to sync those files. Annoying as hell. 

 

I am a developer and I know what I am doing. Please don't reply with some regular jargon.

Hi @deluxebucks, thanks for posting on the Community.

I understand your frustration over this matter.

Have you tried reinstalling the app, without uninstalling it first, to see if this resolves the sync queue issue?

Regarding the second point, are you referring to selective sync? Are you certain that no other app or service is trying to access those folders when you're de-selecting them?

Keep me updated with any progress!
