Dropbox link no longer found

Dropbox link no longer found

Hi. A link was shared with me to a file of photos about 5 and 1/2 years ago . It was working throughout the years but just checked and seems like its gone. I'm in fact getting the image below when I click on it. "The link doesn't work anymore". Can someone help. How can I recover this file.

Is there a way I can recover

The only way to get it to work again is by contacting the owner and asking them to send you a new link

Hi @mh1991, thanks for posting on the Community.

As @Mark said, this appears to be a shared link that is owned by another user on Dropbox.

Since it seems like either they deleted the link, or the folder that contains the link, only they can recover the folder or link for you to be able to access it again.

If they are able to do so, then we recommend that you download the files to your machine, or add it to your Dropbox account. This could apply to any shared link you view online.

If you need any more details, feel free to message back!
