Dropbox on my laptop doesn't let me access my files and shared files.

Dropbox on my laptop doesn't let me access my files and shared files.

New member | Level 2

On my desktop, I see Dropbox (Personal) and can access my files and shared folders. BUT...on my laptop all I can see is an older and different shared folder (that I don't use anymore) and a bunch of strange files/folders labelled dropbox.cache etc.

How do I configure Dropbox on my laptop so that it is the same as on my desktop?

I tried to re-download Dropbox on my laptop but it won't let me do so.

Thanks for any help.

Dropboxer

Hello there @vmcg, I hope you're doing well today!

Since you mentioned that you tried redownloading the app on your laptop, can you clarify for me if the desktop app is currently installed/running on this device?

Also, can you let me know what kind of issue you ran into while trying to download the app again? If you're getting any errors then please send me a screenshot of this.

Let me know and we can go from there!
