Dropbox says my box is full, yet only 20% has been used

Dropbox says my box is full, yet only 20% has been used

Explorer | Level 3

I have 5.25GB of fropbox space.

I have added up all my folders and files in Dropbox and they total 2.15GB

Yet, after I was prompted to update the app today on my Windows 10 computer, it now says my Dropbox is full at 5.29GB.

Despite removing some larger files and reducing my dropbox folders to 1.05Gb, it still says my Dropbox is full at exactly 5.29GB.

I have rebooted my computer but still Dropbox is full at 5.29GB.

What happened at the update?

Will the error be corrected?

Did you inadvertently enable the computer backup feature?

Thanks - yes I believe I did.
I’ll delete and replace Dropbox.
Then avoid that.

Make sure you disable the backup feature BEFORE you uninstall Dropbox. Then watch for the option during the re-installation

Oops, Rich, I was too quick.
I didn’t do that.
And, yes, when I go to Dropbox online I can see my desktop and downloads listed.
How do I remove the backup, please?
