Dropbox stuck syncing multiple but small files

Hi,

Dropbox has been stuck for hours trying to sync thousands of files that only amount to 9 MB.

How can I speed up this process? The number of files is not going down so something seems to be failing.

Hi jpchco,

A file may be open or in use. Try closing all the files you are trying to sync with Dropbox, and restart Dropbox by closing it (right-click on the toolbar icon for Windows users and opening Dropbox again).
