Good day, my dropbox taskbar icon disappeared and seems to not be syncing anymore. Please help

It sounds like the desktop app on your computer isn't running so you'll need to re-launch it from your Apps folder.
Alternatively, you can simply re-install it as this should do the trick for you.

Thanks but opening the application does nothing and i get errors when i try to uninstall and reinstall. im starting to give up. nothing i try works
What errors are you getting, Juan? Can you post a screenshot so I can have a look?
