Dropbox uploads photos ignoring the fact Camera Uploads set to OFF

Right now just without any reason Dropbox download all my photos to Camera Upload folder ignoring the fact Camera Uploads was OFF.

 

Any idea why?

Hi @CrewDog, thanks for messaging today!

 

From which device were the files uploading, was it a mobile device or the Dropbox desktop application (if a camera/phone was connected)?

 

You can check the version history of one of the photos to see which device initiated the upload.

Hi Jay,

 

Looks like it Desktop App on my Mac. It was moment I connected new phone (with no Dropbox installed at all but with same icloud account) to Mac.

Could you check if camera uploads is also turned off on your computer too?

Now all you have to do, if you don't want automatically upload your photos, is turn off the camera uploads feature.
