Dropbox very slow

My dropbox is so slow that I can not longer use it, I have a MacBook Air the strange thing is that the link shows the facebook emblem although the computer shows Files -Dropbox I have never shared my dropbox with face book so am unsure why this is happening. I am unable to complete any tasks due to how slow the computer is. It also takes ages to delete a file.

In order to understand what you're experiencing, could you attach a screenshot showing what you're seeing on your MacBook with the Facebook logo?

Thanks Jay, unfortunately, I am unable to access it from my Mac. Do you know how I cake delete Dropbox from my Mac and then reload it? I am unable to use it on the Mac and believe it has been corrupted

If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try an advanced reinstall of the app using the steps in this link?

Keep me updated with any progress!
