Hi. It would be nice if Dropbox had an option so we can edit a document that we already saved/put in Dropbox, if this option is already there, where would I find it? Also, it would be REALLY nice to have a "Dropbox email address" that we can use in order to send an email to our Dropbox account to save it. I know that Evernote has this option and it is really handy! (I would rather use Dropbox instead of having two different storage areas. But I keep Evernote because of the option to send emails to my Evernote email address).
1) you can edit files on Dropbox if they are Office ones by choosing open in office
2) you already can via the Features menu at https://www.dropbox.com/account/general

I meant actually edit in the document itself. In my Evernote I can edit my docs, without needing to open the document in a say a word program. Thank you for the link, I will take a look at it 🙂
I'm not real good at this computer/dropbox thing 🙂 Getting there though lol
I have Evernote too, and in their program, I can start a new note (that doesn't need LibreOffice or Word) and I can also edit a previous note. I guess I'm not talking about an existing LibreOffice or Word document.
Thanks everyone for helping a none techy person lol
Thanks for jumping in! 🙂 this might be what I was looking for. I briefly looked at it, for a non-techy, it looks a tiny bit intimidating lol
I am going to play around with it. Thank you so much for your help!
No worries @utzer2 - I'm just glad I could help, even a bit.
