Email from Dropbox about Deleted Files

Email from Dropbox about Deleted Files

Got email from Dropbox that I had deleted >6,000 files. I did not delete any. And that's all the files I have in Dropbox and they are still there, both on the web and the desktop. Anybody know why I should get this email?

OK. Thank you for making me think harder about this. About a week ago I was re-arranging some of my folders and I accidentally dragged my biggest Dropbox folder into another folder. Thought I caught it quick, but I did have to delete some files. Didn't think it was anywhere near 6,307, but I guess it was. Sorry for the false alarm.

Did you rename the parent directory or move them?

No. I have not done anything to my Dropbox file structure, just adding and editing files.
