As it seems that the files were deleted in October, then it wouldn't be possible to recover them since it would be outside of the 30 recovery period, unfortunately.
However, if the shared folder is owned by a user with a Dropbox Professional or Business account, then they would have 180 days to recover files.
If you're not seeing the ability to recover the files from the deleted files page, or the events page, then it means that even our support team wouldn't be able to do so
I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Since you're not seeing the deleted files in the recycle bin, you could try to recover the files from the local machine using a third party app or service to do so, though this isn't a guarantee it would work after so long.
