Error: "Sign in with G Suite to edit business files"

Explorer | Level 4

We're using Dropbox for a project and we do not have a Dropbbox Business account. Yet, anytime my colleague wants to open a .gdoc-File via Dropbox in Browser, he is asked to "Sign in with G Suite to edit business files". This same issue occurred over the summer with our intern who wasn't able to resolve the issue with Dropbox support. How can we resolve this and how can it be that this appears with some of my project partners, yet not others. (Neither of us has any G Suite or Dropbox Business accounts).

Many thanks for your help in advance!!

Many thanks for the swift reply! This page listed all info that I already had, so it didn't really resolve the issue.

All the best,

Valentina

In that case, could you please let me know if they get any different results on another browser, Valentina?

If they do, could you confirm that both of you are on the Basic plan as shown in your account's settings online

Let me know what you find!
