Error when previewing .pdf files '.pdf files are supported but something went wrong'

Hi,

I have a file that is password protected, I do not why because it is just a car repair manual. Dropbox says " .pdf files are supported but something went wrong", I may need to reset the password but there are no options.

I have no idea how to access it.

Cheers,

Hey @550M, thanks for joining our Community!

Have you tried from a different browser or from an incognito/private browsing window, to see if it works?

Keep me posted!

I have the same issue with some files not opening. I have tried from a different browser and from an incognito /private browsing window with no joy.

Any other ideas please?

I get the error message ".pdf files are supported but something went wrong." when trying to open some files.

I have tried opening via a different browser and in incognito mode with no joy.

Hi @SophieS91, I'd be happy to look into this for you!

Can you clarify the file type of the content you're trying to preview?

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there.

Hi @SophieS91, could you clarify what type of document it is? Is it a .PDF, .DOC,.DOCX or maybe even .XLS?
