When I want to download a file to Dropbox I get the error message I get an error message "content type mismatch" What is the problem?

Could you try downloading the file from another browser or an incognito window?

 

Also, could you let me know the type of file that you're trying to download?

I tried Firefox, Chrome, and the New Microsoft browser all with the same result. It is a regular pdf of about 1.8mb. I even tried on my laptop but no go.

Can you clarify for me where you're trying to import these files to Dropbox from?

 

Also, have you tried the suggestions in the "Trouble downloading" section shown behind the error message in your screenshot?

It is the one in Daphnes post above you in blue Walter. I removed the hyperlink from it so Icould post it in the forum. Sometimes when I hit the link I get the spinning icon which goes on indefinitely. I think the issue relates to the company who are not answering my questions. They may have folded.

I think you're right in this case, since this link is not associated with Dropbox at all.
