I am using MaC OS 10.14.6 (MOJAVE) and Dropbox version 108.4.453. When I use WiFi for internet connection, Dropbox won't connect (symbol in menu list remains grey), although I am online. When I use my mobile phone as a hotspot, dropbox does connect and syncs correctly. I checked login items (Dropbox is active) and logged out and back in to my dropbox account. I checked the firewall - all incoming services are allowed.
The problem has popped up recently without a discernible reason.
Can anyone help?
Thank you! Jonas
Hi there @Jonas Rutishauser; welcome to our Community!
Apart from the firewall, have you also excluded any antivirus or VPN/proxy setting that may be causing this?
Keep me posted, Jonas.

I removed a proxy setting, and now the connection and syncing seems to work. Thank you!
No biggie, Jonas; I'm glad to hear this helped.
