Family subscription Photo gallery link missing?

Where did the Photo gallery link go?

 

I can go to dropbox/photos and it works fine. But when I click "all files" the photos link is gone.

 

I have tried latest Chrome, Edge, Opera. All 3 do not have browser plugins installed. I have flushed all my browser cache. I have tried this on multiple computers.

 

I have the Family subscription option. Is this missing for Family subscription?

Hey @briandpeterson; welcome to our Community!

To be honest, I think that the Photos tab is accessible to a part of our users; do you remember having access to that before creating or joining the family account?

In any case, you can bookmark the direct URL on your browser for easier access if needed.

Thank you for the update.

 

I have used Dropbox before. I just recently got the Family edition for my family. 

 

I am confused, to get the link, do I have to put a request in? How is this link appearing controled?

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear, Brian. 

It looks like you don't have access to the Photos tab on this account and there isn't a setting to turn it on or off. You'll need to use a bookmark on your browser for quicker navigation.

I guess so. What subscription type gives full access to the photos tab then?

It should be available to some users that were previously using it on personal accounts, Brian. 

For personal Dropbox accounts we removed the original Photos page in the summer of 2017 and replaced it with a new one, which has been redesigned to better align with the rest of the Dropbox website.

Even without the Photos tab though, users on personal Dropbox accounts can still access a view of all of their photos on our new Photos timeline here:
 

Keep in mind that the new Photos page does not support quick-scroll timeline, album creation and sharing, or direct sharing to social media.

Additionally, our website allows all users to view files as large thumbnail previews using grid view if needed.

Thank you for that context. But that leads to where is the new one?

Is that something in "beta" slowly rolling out, or am I missing where it is?
