File Requests Not Working - This Folder is Empty

File Requests Not Working - This Folder is Empty

New member | Level 2

Hello,

When I create a file request folder, no one I send the link to can upload files. I tested it myself with an alt account, and when I click the link on my desktop, it just sends me to a page that says "This Folder is Empty." This only happens on desktop. I have no issue with uploading files to a file request folder on mobile.

Any help would be appreciated. I've done this many times before and never had this issue until now.

Hi @DropFace, thanks for posting today!

It sounds like you're copying and pasting a URL for the actual empty folder on your account, and not the file request URL. Could you doublecheck that you are sending the correct file request URL to people? It should look similar to this:

https:confused face:/www.dropbox.com/request/r5OANdai320n2980n

Keep me updated with any progress!
