File Saving Issues (Adobe Audition)

Hi folks! 

 

I've been running into exactly the same issue as Johnny in the below thread:

Was there any resolution to this? Adobe Audition is my #1 most used program - I record voiceover for a living and use Dropbox for sending files to clients - and the issue seems to have gotten worse lately, for whatever reason.

In that case, I'd recommend pausing sync while editing your files or quitting the app and relaunching it once you're done with your edits @mikepav 

 

I wish I had a better answer for you.

Audio files from 2020 and before won 't load into Adobe Audition.  There are error messages galore.  DropBox has identified this problem but

it persists.  I have to hire -and pay- an expert to get me one of those files every time I need it.  Does anyone have a fix, suggestion or 

know someone at DropBox - a real person- I can call???????

I too am experiencing this issue with saving files from Adobe Audition into a Dropbox folder, where I get the "error occurred when saving the file to disk" message.

Pausing the sync resolves the issue, but is not a solution, as all my audio files are saved on Dropbox, and because I use "save hard drive space automatically" option, it downloads requested files on demand.  So I need the software to be active throughout my editing.

It seems to be a common issue, so I would hope some time could be dedicated to Dropbox actually investigating and resolving this issue please.
