Re: File Sharing

File Sharing

Hey everyone,

I have a question regarding file sharing on Dropbox. I am currently creating a Dropbox that can allow my customers to post the photos that they want to share, and I also want them to be able to view other customers photos if they please. The problem comes when they also have access to delete photos. How can I go about giving access to view and post photos without them being able to delete photos?

Thanks!

You can't, at least not easily. The two methods of sharing are view-only which wouldn't let them post, or edit access, which also lets them delete. The only alternative would be to use a file request so they can submit the files to you, and a view-only shared link so they can view the files.
