Files have gone missing

New member | Level 2

I went into dropbox looking for files today June 25 and I've noticed that there are at least 20 folders that have been modified on the same day at the same time (Jun 21 2:03pm). When I say modified, I mean to say that they've been changed and some of the content Appears to be missing. We are a small business with only three people accessing the dropbox and no one knowingly made any changes. It's strange that affected over a dozen folders all of the exact same time on the exact same day. Does anyone have an idea what could've happened?  Better yet, is there some sort of Time Machine function to go back and find the missing documents?

Hi @aj59275; welcome aboard and thanks for using Dropbox!

I'm not sure what happened there, but you should be able to find more information about this by checking your account's events page as this is the place where all adds, edits and deletes are normally logged.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any more questions.
