Re: Files moved after initiating backup

Files moved after initiating backup

Salim2200
Explorer | Level 3

I'm a basic/free Dropbox user. I downloaded the Desktop app and was suggested to backup Desktop, Downloads and Documents so it being a great idea I naturally accepted and started the process. 2mins in I get a notification that my 2Go are full, but Dropbox keeps uploading the remaining 300Go. I stop the process, but now files on Premiere Pro or Ableton Live aren't linked anymore. I'm confused as to what to do to undo everything...

Hey @Salim2200, thanks for joining us here on the Dropbox Community!

What you'll need to do, is disable the computer backup feature.

During the disabling process you will be asked to move your files back to their original locations and once you do that, you'll be good to go.

Let me know if you have any questions.
