Files not downloading

Files not downloading

I have a directory on Dropbox with a large number of files and folders. Dropbox.com on my PC shows all the files I uploaded from my Mac Pro. However, the Dropbox App on the PC and the Dropbox directory on the PC doesn't show 3 of those files, each about 15 MB. The PC has been running all day and yet the files are not moving from Dropbox.com to the local drive. The sharing permissions are the same across all the file in that directory.

Hope someone can help.

Thank you, Walter, that was, indeed, the problem. I received those files from a friend and didn't notice them missing on the PC until I needed them.

Hey @martyfxad; welcome to our Community and thanks for using Dropbox!

If the app in your system tray is showing 'up to date' which means it's done syncing, there might be an incompatible character in those file-names.

Could you take a look here and let me know if that's the case indeed?

Thanks a bunch!
