When I open a file from Dropbox into word to update it, I notice that it loads an earlier version of the word file. Not all the information is there. I am using iPhone

Does the edited file appear on the website after you edit it from another device?
Could you try quitting the Word app completely, and then reboot the iPhone to see if this helps?

Are there any updates for the Word app which need to be installed?
Could you try offlining the Word document first, and then try opening it via the mobile app to see if this helps?
