Files stored locally- can I store in more than one folder?

New member | Level 2

Hi there- I am trying to set up my syncing and am wondering if I can have one folder sync/store locally in one location on my hard drive and then the other folder sync/store on my external drive. I can only see one option.

Hey @MBVIP, thanks for reaching out to us!

One option is to copy-paste the folder into another location from your Dropbox folder, which means that any changes you make to one won't be reflected to the other.

The other option is to symlink the folder, however, I'd recommend checking this article out to find out more info on it.

Hope this helps!
