Financial Model formulas break when uploading .xlsx sheets to Dropbox

CFO sent .xlsx Finanical Model with formulas working (10 sheets in book).

When I upload it to our Dropbox Business account, the formulas break (#REF)

How can I upload the entire Financial Model into our Dropbox Business account without formulas breaking?

Using a Mac OS Big Sur, version 11.1

It depends on what the formulas are referring to, which is why this could be happening.

Are they pointing to value in the same document, or another document entirely? Are there any macros involved in the formulas

Thank you for responding.  There might be macros within the formulas.  Everything is pointing to values within the same document.

Are the formulas breaking when you download the file to your computer,  or is it only when previewing the file on the Dropbox site?

What happens if you preview in on the Excel Online site, via Dropbox?
