Folder Syncronisation within Finder

Folder Syncronisation within Finder

Explorer | Level 4

Hey there,

I browsed the internet for a while now and couldn't find anything helping, so I hope it's fine to ask here.

I wonder why some of my folders can be seen within the Finder on my macbook and others i can only see at dropbox.com?

Can I choose which folders are to be seen at the Finder? There is only one folder a colleague shared with me and then the "Camera uploads", "Photos" and "Public" folder. I have other (shared) files and folders at my dropbox which I would love to see in my Finder too for swift working. Can somebody tell me how to manage that?

I feel there is a super easy answer to that, thank you in advance! <3

Hey there @annarenrek, thanks for reaching out!

Did you possibly apply selective sync when setting up the app? This allows you to choose which specific folders you want to sync to the local Dropbox folder.

Otherwise, do any of the folders/files that are not appearing locally have any incompatible characters in their name? You can check out a list of these characters here.

Let me know what you find!
