Getting an Unknown Error when uploading photos to DropBox App (iOS 13.5.1)

I'm trying to upload a photo/s to Dropbox from my iphone (iOS 13.5.1)

I'm doing this from inside the Dropbox App: Plus/Create -> Upload Photos

I'm getting this message:

An Unknown error occured trying to upload photos or videos. Please try again.

 

I don't want to automatically synch all my photos - just want to occasionally upload.

Professional Account; plenty of space on Dropbox.

I've checked phone's setting for Photos and DropBox  but nothing seems to be blocking the upload.

Can anyone help?

Can you try reinstalling the Dropbox mobile app to see if that does the trick?

 

If the error persists, please let me know which version of the mobile app you have installed.

Hello @NixC, I'd be more than happy to help look into this with you. 

 

I'll just need a bit more info to make sure that I have a better understanding of your concern. For example:

  • Are you having an issue adding any sort of photo or specific ones? 
  • Have you tried uploading these photos after connecting to a different WiFi network or via cellular data?
  • How much space have you got left on your mobile's storage in general?

A screenshot (without any personal details) of the error message would also be very helpful.

  • How much space have you got left on your mobile's storage in general? 200 GB available on phone and 3 TB free on Dropbox.

Thanks for helping out with this - I had planned to use Dropbox predominantly to quickly transfer photos from my phone (apple) t omy desktop (Windows) without using iCloud. At the moment that function isn't working. :thinking:
