Getting my files off dropbox and back on my computer.

Getting my files off dropbox and back on my computer.

When I deleted dropbox app off my computer a bunch of my files disappeared also. It shows my free space is full and wants me to upgrade. I reinstalled under old user name and I still can't figure out to download all my files back on my computer and empty the dropbox space.

Hello there @djweb21, thanks for posting!

If your Dropbox account is full, or over the space limit, then the app won't be able to sync your files.

Have you tried downloading some folders from your account online, and then deleting them from there to free up some space in your account?

Once you're at, or under the space limit of your account, the app would be able to sync the rest down to the local Dropbox folder.

Let me know if this helps!
