I cannot open a file that was downloaded into my account. The message that I get is
"The file is too big to preview. The maximum file size for .zip is 512 MB."
Apparently the file size is 4.77 GB.
Is there a way to buy more space or get more space to view this file?
It is a video file.
No, the limit is that for all accounts.
The only way to view it would be to download it to your device.

I am brand new to Dropbox and am downloading a video sent to me with Dropbox. It will allow me to download the whole video, but will not allow me to view the entire video. Any pointers??
Yes, Thats as far as I got too . . . . download the file to my laptop and then cannot open it.
Exactly
Hi @BobZav & @Michelle48084; I'm sorry to jump in here, but I was wondering if you're getting a specific error when trying to open the file after you've downloaded it from our website.
If you do, can you send us a screenshot so that we can have a visual too?

Hi Walter, I am not getting a message, the video just stops. Viewing it in dropbox before I download it the video is 19:13, when I go to view it after I download it, the video stops at 12:13.

Hi Walter,
The sender can see if correctly and if I just view it in Dropbox I can see the whole thing, it is only after I download it to my laptop that it is not completely viewable.
