How can I add a shared link folder structure on my own account?

Explorer | Level 3

I have received a link via email for a dropbox folder.

I would like to transfer or copy the contents of this folder to my

own dropbox folder within my account.

Need some assistance with the process please and thanks.

Hey @milbar, thanks for reaching out on the Community; I’d happily follow-up on your inquiry!

As long as the sender hasn’t disabled downloads, you should be able to add the shared link content to your Dropbox account by “Saving it to your Dropbox”. You should see the option if you click on the 🔽 arrow next to the “Download” button. This will automatically store a copy of the original files you can access on your file structure.

I hope that this is answer you were seeking; please let me know if you have any follow-up questions. Thanks!

Thanks for uour reply Jane.

This folder has 100 photos in it and I would like to transfer the whole thing in one swoop.  Right now I can only see that I am able to download individually.

I must be overlooking something.

Thanks for circling back to me @milbar

You should have the option to Download/Save to your Dropbox option on the top-right hand corner as you’re loading the shared link.

If you’ve clicked on a photo, you should navigate on the top-left on the left-pointing "<" arrow. Click there & it should take you back to your previous view with all your photos.

I hope this brings us closer; please let me know how you get on!
