Just to check, are you sending this email via your desktop machine, or via your mobile device?
If the latter, ‘sharing’ a file via Dropbox means it would create a shared link, which is what you’re seeing. You can instead export the file to your email app using these steps to then send it on.
If I’m misunderstanding anything, feel free to let me know!
Please could you let me know the exact steps you’re taking to export the file on your device in order to understand why you’re still getting a link to the file.
