How can I be notified if someone else has opened a shared file?

we use dropbox in our office. we are 6-8 users. 

when i go in to a file, and someone else opens it, we are not notified

If these are Microsoft Office files, you can use the Dropbox Badge which will indicate when others open a file. Otherwise, there are no such notifications when multiple people open a file.
