How can I delete files from an SD card without them reappearing?

Hi All

I bought a second hand SD card from a second hand electonics store, when I got it home I found it has a Drop box folder on it full of 100's of photos. (harmless stuff) I've tried to delete them, even formatted the card but they keep coming back! how the hell do I get rid of them!!

This won't have anything to do with Dropbox. It's just an SD card that happens to have a Dropbox folder on it. Dropbox can't do anything to prevent you from removing files from it. If you're unable to delete them, there's likely some other reason for it.

Cheers Rich

it's a mystery! I've also found a 'one drive' file! I've googled the question (how to remove) but there seems to be no answer. it's like the files are 'hard wired' in the card.

Is this a regular SD card (not mini or micro)? If so, is the card write-protected?
