How can I get changes made in the local Dropbox folder to sync online?

How can I get changes made in the local Dropbox folder to sync online?

Explorer | Level 3

Hi - I'm sure this is really simple but i just can't get it...  If I go to Dropbox on my browser (Safari) i see three Project folders. One was created by someone else and shared with me, the other two are mine, created on my Mac and dragged to Dropbox..     What I want is to have three folders on my Mac desktop, one for each of those Projects. And if i open a folder and put a project in a subfolder, or open a file and change it, both of those changes will happen in the online folders.  But they don't. I open the dektop folder and change something, or move something, and it has not effect online.. What am i doing wrong?

Hi @Paul00001,

Are you sure your Dropbox application is running and the application status is "Up to date"?
