How can I remove shared files from the Dropbox app on my iPhone?

New member | Level 2

Im getting “Dropbox storage full” notifications. I no longer need or want the files and photos i have stored in my Dropbox, but They were all shared with me and there is no delete option. How do I delete these files from my iPhone Dropbox? I think I’m “viewer only” on most. I don’t want to pay for more storage bc i don’t even want these files anymore but need to accept other things people are trying to send me.

Hey there @Mrsdio529, I hope you're having a good start to your week so far!

To remove shared folders from your account through the mobile app, you can follow these steps:

  1. Tap the "..." next to the shared folder you want to remove.
  2. Choose "Manage Access".
  3. Tap "Remove From My Dropbox".

Let me know how it goes!
