How do I create a new page with a link?

Hi.  I am trying to understand how I can create a new page/paper with an existing text.   I understand if I type +Example   I get a new page called Example.    

However if I already have a sentence typed out, for example:   Lessons for Children  -- then I highlight the whole thing, click link and would like to create a new Page -- is there any way to create a new page?   Or do I have to type + and retype Lessons for Children -- to be able to create a page called Lessons for Children?

You're correct, the way to create a new Paper doc from within a Paper doc is to add the "+" symbol and input the title of the doc after the plus sign. Highlighting any text and adding the "+" sign in the beginning won't turn it into a new Paper doc.
