Hi @Jamescarrington, thanks for your message!

Could you clarify on how you shared the file to the other person? Did you create a link to it and email them the URL?

Did you share the file or folder directly? Was it via a Transfer instead?

This will help me to assist further!

I have this question too - I was asked to send an audition tape to a Dropbox link. I dragged the first file (an iMovie file saved to iPhoto in the .mov format) into the box and saw its name appear in the box. I then dragged the next file into the box, but as soon as it uploaded it started playing the video. I had no way to go back into the box to click on Upload. When I clicked on Back < I was taken back to the dropbox page with an empty

I have been sent an email saying "Your files were uploaded to xxx" and it lists both files.

I guess that means they both sent?

Can you view .mov files in Dropbox?

Is there any way to check they have been sent on the app?  I hadn't logged in at that point.

Many thanks, Clarey

Hi @clareykc - could you clarify if the link you mentioned was a file request from another Dropbox account?

If so, the files are sent as the email notification mentioned but you won't see them on your account if those files weren't stored there in the first place.

As for previewing mov files in Dropbox, yes they should preview just fine.

I hope this helps!
