Is it possible to view who and how many times your team members have opened or downloaded your file?

Thanks,

Kelly

Hi Kelly, currently it isn’t possible to see the number of times a file has been opened or downloaded.

If the team admin has enabled viewer info on files, then you’ll be able to see which members of your team have viewed files in shared folders.

Hope this info helps!

Technically Dropbox does not provide information about views and downloads of your shared files. But it is possible to track views/downloads as well as location. I track views/downloads of my CV at my personal website. My CV is located in Dropbox and my website just has a link for viewing it.

In order to track downloads:

1) Create shared link for your file in Dropbox

2) Shorten shared link with online shorteners (there is bunch of them, I use goo.gl)

3) Link shortener provides info about downloads and geographic location of the viewer.

Hope it helps,

Behzod
